꾸준한 영어 원서 읽기 및 말하기 연습을 위한

온라인 원서읽기 영어 스터디 첫 모임을 가셨습니다!

저를 포함한 3명의 스터디원이 약 1시간 동안 intensive하게 PACHINKO에 대해서 영어로 이야기 나눴는데요,

영어 스터디 규칙에 의해서 모임 전에 ice-breaking question과 book-related question을 공유하고 있습니다.

강제 인증없이 자율적으로 몰입하는 영어 원서읽기를 위해서

지금 운영하고 있는 영어 원서읽기 스터디는 자기 자신이 직접 스터디에서 다루어질 질문을 만들고 있습니다.

1회차 영어 스터디에서 다루어진 질문 한 번 살펴보겠습니다.

ice-breaking question으로는

- How was your week?
- Any holiday plans?
- Does your family observe 제사?
- Do you usually enjoy Halloween?
- Do you prefer reading the books first before watching movie/drama of that book ?
- Why do you study English ? (Purpose or objective)

위와 같이 다양한 질문이 있었는데요,

본격적인 영어 토론 진행 전에 가볍게 영어 말하기 연습이 되는 질문들입니다.

또 가벼운 주제로 스터디원들의 생각도 듣고, 내 생각도 공유할 수 있어 더 즐거운 영어 스터디 시작이 가능합니다.

book-related question으로는

- Have you watched the movie?
- Can boys and girls be friends?
- If you were Isak, will you make same plan on marrying Sunja? Why or why not?
- How do you like the book so far?
- What does 오빠 mean for Korean people? Do you think how to call someone's name is important in relationship?
- If you were Sunja, how would you treat Hansu?
- Do you think Sunja should get married with Isak to protect herself and her baby?
- What do you think about arranged marriage ? (Like Hoonie-Youngjin)
- Why do you think Isak decided to marry Sunja ?
- What is the reason that Sunja felt love/interest toward Hansi so quickly?
- Any opinion of how the story will go afterwards ?

위와 같은 질문이 이번 영어 스터디에서 다루어졌습니다.

아무래도 초반 부에는 순자에 대한 이야기가 임팩트가 강하다보니 순자를 중심으로 많은 질문이 나왔는데요,

이 외에도 첫 회차답게 책에 대한 전반적인 느낌, 앞으로 이야기 추측 등에 대해서 이야기 나눌 수 있는 시간이었습니다.
